New Mural on Display at Waqatasg Elders Facility

Over the past two months, Listuguj artist, Derek Condo has been working on a mural in the cultural room at the Waqatasg Elders Facility, and it is now complete. The piece is titled, “Ta’n Te’loltimg” and it means how we are living – either in the past, today or tomorrow.

Condo extends his gratitude for the positive feedback from the community during the progress of the mural. He says he put his heart and emotions into the piece, and expressed how special it is for him to know he has created a piece like this in a home for our Elders.

The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government recognizes the artistic talent and dedication from Condo. We are honoured to have this mural on display in our community.

The mural is open to the public for viewing. Please speak with the receptionist upon arrive at the Waqatasg Elders Facility.
