Listuguj Police Department’s Grand Opening

Earlier this month, the Listuguj Police Department held a soft grand opening for their brand-new police station located at 250 Riverside W.

The event was attended by the Minister of Public Security and Public Safety Canada. An opening prayer was done by Ella Vicaire and a smudging ceremony was done by Chad Gedeon. Rosslyn Vicaire said a few words on behalf of her late, father, Henry Vicaire.

Speeches were done by the Director of Public Security, Peter Arsenault, Chief of Police Sharon Barnaby, Deputy Chief Jacob Mitchell, Chief Scott Martin, and CEO Bassem Abdrabou.
